Moved with Compassion: The Leadership of Jesus and the importance of the Gospel

People will follow a leader. Today there’s an emptiness, the youth are searching. And Jesus is the one! The only one! In Matthew 9.27, two blind men heard of all the miracles Jesus had done and they followed Him into the house where He was, crying out, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” Though blind, they recognised the prophetic significance of who Jesus is. Jesus saw their faith, touched their eyes and their eyes where opened.

A Life Guided by the Holy Spirit | 75 Years of Miracle Ministry

I’m so thankful to God for allowing me to serve Him for 75 years. God has been so faithful to me. From childhood, I wanted every day and every part of my life to be under the direction and control of the Holy Spirit. Now when I look back over 75 years of ministry I know with absolute certainty that there has been both purpose and direction in my life. God has been in control of all my days and all my experiences. Everything that has happened in my life was foreknown in His plan.

Is anything too hard for the Lord? | Jeremiah 32/33

Is anything too hard for the Lord? | Jeremiah 32/33

The Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah whilst he was shut up in prison, ‘Thus saith the Lord, the Maker – that formed Heaven and earth – to establish it, “Call unto Me and I will answer!”’ Come on! So many pray in doubt… Remember how amazed the disciples were when Jesus cursed the fig tree and it died from the root? Jesus explained to them in Mark 11.22-24, “If you will speak to this mountain (the Mount of Olives) and command it to be cast down into the sea (the Dead Sea), if you speak it and believe in your heart without doubt, what you say will be done!” It’s time today, in the 21st century that we believed that God will honour His Word and do what He says!!!

Jesus heals many

Jesus heals many

For me the most important chapter in the Bible on healing is Matthew 8. Jesus came down from the mountain and thousands followed Him. A leper came and said, ‘If You want to, You can heal me!’ Jesus said, ‘I want to!’ and it was done. Then Jesus came into Capernaum and a Roman centurion came to Him, ‘Lord, I have a sick servant at home.’ Jesus said, ‘I’ll come to your house.’

Christ Our Shepherd and Example - Suffering with Purpose

I want you to look up, look beyond! I’ve had suffering, I’ve had pain, I’ve lost my parents, one brother, my sister, my wife – but I don’t weep, I look beyond, because I know there is a day of reunion in the Kingdom with those who have passed away before! Our hope transcends, comes above all our earthly panic and pain!

Faith That Heals, Signs That Follow

Faith That Heals, Signs That Follow

I cannot find one place in the four Gospels where Jesus ever tells His disciples to ‘pray’ for the sick! He always says either HEAL them or lay hands on them, as in Mark 16:17-18, where He says, “These signs will follow those who believe… they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”

Preach the Gospel - Heal the sick

Preach the Gospel - Heal the sick

I am very emotional when I preach the Gospel. In Matthew 9, when Jesus said to the paralysed man who had been laid at His Feet, “Son, your sins are forgiven”, the religious Pharisees accused Him in their hearts, “Only God can forgive sin!” Knowing what was in their hearts, Jesus made this amazing declaration, “So that you may know that the Son of Man has Power on earth to forgive sin” – He turned to the paralysed man and commanded him – “Get up and walk!” Jesus, in His own words said that He healed the sick to PROVE that He could forgive sin.
