In July, thousands of Christians gathered together in Kyiv for the National Day of Prayer. For 12 years since the annexation of Crimea and the Donbass, Ukraine has experienced unimaginable suffering and hardship. Yet they give thanks to God, because against all odds, they have survived another year. By His grace, the people have endured, preserved their unity; and their longing for true and lasting peace has only grown stronger.
The Holy Spirit came down so powerfully in a way I have not seen in 75 years! Preaching on finding Jesus, the Holy Spirit led me to do the opposite of what I have always done – I prayed for the sick first – God answered in such Power, a flood of people mounted the platform to testify of the incredible miracles they were experiencing. Then it was so easy to say, “You have seen the Power of Jesus to heal. This same Jesus is here to forgive your sin.” Many hundreds accepted Christ and prayed the sinners’ prayer!

Held at Emmanuel Centre, London, 11 April 2026, REVIVE NOW! was an opportunity to seek God afresh, be renewed in faith, and be stirred for His purposes in our lives, our churches, and our nation. Through focused prayer, Bible teaching, and extended time in God’s presence, the day strengthened believers and ignited a fresh passion for the Gospel.
On Sunday, 29th March, pastors and bishops from across the Lviv region gathered together, along with chaplains, military representatives, and official guests from the city administration, recognising this as a critical moment for Ukraine. More than 1,500 filled the hall. A choir and live orchestra of 120 musicians contributed to a powerful atmosphere of God’s presence. David’s representative in Ukraine, Vadim Preobrazhenskiy, shared a message about God’s Mercy which has united and transformed the nation in the despair of war, and in the biggest historical challenges Ukraine has ever faced.
Travelling on military roads covered with anti-drone netting and zig-zagging across pot-holed village roads, David ministered in a growing church planted in Izyum immediately after it was liberated from the invaders in 2023; he visited and ministered to the military manning the observation post for the 26th Artillery Regiment protecting the whole of this part of the Front, and then, further up the frontline, to commanders of ground units, who gathered in another secret location to meet us and to hear the Word of God.
We’re just back from Baku in Azerbaijan where, together with the local Christians, I held 3 days of evangelism in a prestigious venue in the city centre. It’s a bold step of faith to preach Christ publicly in a culturally Moslem country, and there was a fear, at government level, of some backlash and provocations. So no, we were not allowed the larger arena I had hoped for, but the Minister of Religious Affairs did give his full support and attended the opening night. This was the first time in the history of Azerbaijan that Christians have been allowed to take a public venue.
“All my life I set out to prove who Jesus is, to prove His power, to prove His authority. My life has been a demonstration of the truth, the effectiveness and the Power of the Word of God. Now, aged 93, I have not reached the limits of God’s Power HERE, ON EARTH! But the faith driving me is not in my head, it’s in my heart. I want to share this passion with you.”
