‘It is with great joy and gratitude that I am sharing a short summary of David’s evangelism which took place in September 2026, from our perspective as the organisers.
‘The entire event was deeply rooted in prayer from the very beginning, together with the local churches. We spent a year in preparation. Behind the scenes, we experienced intense spiritual opposition and immense pressure right up to the end. Just a few days before the event, someone started circulating false rumours to the collaborating pastors and churches, claiming that the festival had been cancelled, spreading lying reports that David Hathaway had died! Praise God, these attempts to derail the work could not stop what HE had planned! By His grace, we pushed through this challenging time in faith and saw a powerful breakthrough.
‘We took the 5000-seat Sport Hall Orbita, and the event united the vast majority of local churches in the city. The pastors were deeply grateful for this, especially as we listened to them and worked with them from the very beginning. We visited local centres supporting people in crisis and addiction, inviting them to come and hear the Gospel. A total of 18 buses came, with churches bringing their non-believing friends, families and acquaintances. The large number of motivated volunteers was a huge blessing, creating an atmosphere filled with joy, warmth, and dedication. We had prepared 700 salvation response packs for people surrendering their lives to Jesus. God worked with such power that by the end of the festival, only 2 packs were left!
‘We witnessed many healings directly on stage, but touching testimonies kept coming in. I would like to share two extraordinary testimonies that we learned about after the event:
‘19-year-old Viktória had a 5 cm tumour on her ovary. She came to the event with her parents. Five days after the festival, her doctors confirmed that the tumour had completely disappeared!
‘My own 11-year old son was suffering from severe skin lesions and open sores all over his body. Doctors tried various treatments and medications, but nothing worked. David prayed for him over the phone, and within one week, all the wounds and lesions dried up and vanished completely! My wife and I are immensely grateful for this personal touch of God in our family.
‘Glory to the Lord for His faithfulness, the powerful breakthrough, and the lasting fruit in people's hearts!’
Two days after Poland, I was in Norway, one of 2 key speakers at a conference powerfully praying for revival. Four days after my return, on September 19th, we held a day of prayer for revival in Britain. This day ended with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit which touched and changed many lives. Britain is in a desperate spiritual and political crisis. The only answer is prayer that comes from a deep relationship with God.
I have seen more than one real revival in my ministry, in Bulgaria and right across the former Soviet Union as far as Siberia and the Russian Far East! Today God is using Ukraine as a demonstration to the whole world of what happens when a nation unites in prayer.
We ‘pray’ for revival, but prayer is not enough. Smith Wigglesworth said that prayer must be followed by action! Ask God for the faith to believe what you pray! BELIEVE that what you say will happen, COMMAND it to happen, and it WILL happen. Ask God to act! Believe He will do it! Turn YOUR faith into action!
Everywhere people are praying for revival. WHY do we need a revival NOW? This was the question I asked in my message to the Awakening Revival Conference in Germany at the end of September. WHY? The answer to this question will change your life! When the Fire of the Holy Ghost fell in Acts 2, Peter believed Christ’s Kingdom was imminent (Acts 1:6). In Acts 2:16-21 he quotes the prophet Joel, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that brings in the Kingdom of God. But in Joel 2/3, I find Joel FIRST talks about the early, moderate, rain (2:18) when the seed is planted, which happened on the Day of Pentecost – and THEN COMES THE FINAL, GREATER RAIN THAT BRINGS IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD!
Joel 2:28-32, 3:2, God says, “I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh before the great and terrible day of the Lord ... multitudes in the Valley of Decision...” I've lived my life believing THIS must happen before Jesus comes – THE BIGGEST REVIVAL, IN SUCH POWER AS WE HAVE NEVER YET SEEN. I’m looking for it, I’m hungry for it, I’m pursuing it. I’ve seen revivals in my ministry, but THIS hasn't happened yet! Like us, Jesus lived an ordinary life until, aged 30, the Holy Spirit came on Him in His human body. His was a miraculous ministry. And when He was about to leave His followers behind after His Resurrection and Ascension, His promise was, “I will send this same Holy Spirit on YOU and YOU will receive Power – and YOU will work the same miracles I’ve done – and GREATER!”
After Germany I spent a week in prayer on my Prayer Mountain in Austria where, for more than 30 years, I have received new Fire, and the Lord reveals Himself as He did with Moses on Mt Sinai. Importantly, right now we’re beginning to make the downpayments for evangelism in 2027.
