Praying for the peace and unity of Ukraine

On Sunday 20 February, David Hathaway held a Prayer of Unity For Peace in Ukraine. The service was supported by Bishops and Leaders from multiple church denominations. In addition to those praying in the church, thousands of people joined online, praying for the peace and protection of Ukraine. Many are praying worldwide that Russia will not invade Ukraine. Pastors are leading prayer for God’s intervention. Echoing the prayer of Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20, 'For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.'

In response to the armed conflict in East Ukraine, which began in 2014, David Hathaway's Ministry in Ukraine, has organised with every major church group, the National Day of Prayer for Ukraine. This service has been held in Kyiv every year since 2016.
