Everything in the Bible can happen today! Don’t limit God. I want to challenge you to a new kind of faith. We are commanded to go in and possess all the blessings which God has promised. Get into the Word of God, search for and mark every promise that you want in your life in red – then every promise you don’t want, cross it out – no, NO!! I want you to have the faith to go and take them ALL! I hear Christians saying I can’t – but my Bible says I can do all things through Christ.
God’s command to the Israelites was to go in and possess the land (Deuteronomy 3:18). His command to believers is the same! There are three things we must do:
1. Possess the spiritual blessing
We need to recognise who we are and what we are in Christ. It is important to understand the blessings which God has given us. When I first realised that the promises of both the Old and New Testaments were not just for the Jews in the past and for the first disciples, but also for me as an inheritor of the same promises as a ‘son of God’, it opened up a whole new experience for me.
Can Biblical Miracles Happen Today? Possessing God's Promises
Many believers ask if the miracles of the Bible are still possible in the modern world. The short answer is yes. Modern faith is built on the principle that God’s promises are not historical relics but active invitations for believers today.
The Mandate to Possess Your Blessings
Just as God commanded the Israelites to enter and possess the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 3:18), modern believers are called to move from passive observation to active possession of spiritual inheritance.
To live a life without limits, you must shift your mindset from "I can't" to the biblical truth: "I can do all things through Christ" (Philippians 4:13).
3 Essential Steps to Activating Biblical Promises
To transition into a "new kind of faith," you must follow a strategic spiritual process:
1. Recognise Your Spiritual Identity
The first step is understanding who you are in Christ. The promises found in the Old and New Testaments are not exclusively for the ancient Israelites or the first disciples. As a child of God, you are a legal inheritor of every covenant blessing.
2. Audit the Word of God
Don't pick and choose which blessings apply to you.
Search the Scriptures: Identify every promise God has made.
Claim Total Ownership: Rather than crossing out what seems "impossible," have the faith to claim the entirety of God's Word.
Mark Your Bible: Use the "Red Line" method – identify every promise you intend to manifest in your life.
3. Overcome the Language of Limitation
Replace "I can't" with "God can." Possession begins with the confession that God’s Word is the final authority over your current circumstances.
To see miracles happen today, you must stop treating the Word as a history book and start treating it as a legal deed to your current blessings. By recognising your identity as an inheritor, you unlock a "whole new experience" of divine favour and power.
