God Can Work Greater Miracles

The Power of Faith and Miracles: Understanding Mark 11:22-24

What God could do 2000 years ago, He can do the same today. He can even do more. It was the same when I was healed from throat cancer in the 1960s. I carry in my body the mark of God's Hand! Somebody said to me recently about my healing from throat cancer, "You put your life on the line! If your faith wasn't going to work, you were going to die!" But God didn't fail me. And when the doctors examined me, they said, "Somebody has cut the cancer out with a knife. We can see the scar tissue. Tell us the name of the doctor and the hospital!" I said simply, His Name is Jesus!

I believe the Bible; it is the Word of God. The Bible teaches, “Whosoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” When you call upon Jesus in prayer, you will receive a miracle.

These are the Words of Jesus in Mark 11, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Does God still work miracles today?

Many believers ask: Does God still perform miracles today? The short answer is yes. The divine power documented 2,000 years ago remains unchanged and accessible through faith and prayer.

The Bible provides a clear framework for experiencing a miracle. According to Romans 10:13, "Whosoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved." This promise extends beyond spiritual salvation to physical and emotional restoration.

The "Mountain-Moving" Faith (Mark 11:22-24)

In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus outlines the mechanics of effective prayer. To receive a miracle, one must follow these three pillars:

Have Faith in God: Place your absolute trust in His character and power.

Speak to the Obstacle: Jesus taught to "say to this mountain, 'Be removed.'" This involves verbalising your faith.

Eliminate Doubt: Believe in your heart that what you say will come to pass.

"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them," (Mark 11:24).
