Dear Friends and Prayer Partners

As I write this, together with my faithful team I am leaving for the frontline spiritually – Baku, in Azerbaijan, culturally Moslem, taking a 5,000-seat stadium for three days – with a permit from the government! They liked what I preached when I was there in January, because I preach Jesus, whom they honour in their Koran as a prophet, but He is the Son of God, who died to save all men! The miraculous healings prove that Jesus is very much alive today. I tell the people that I cannot heal them – but Jesus can and does! Taking a stadium for this visit is an historic breakthrough in this country! And we take it for Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

When I was ministering in the Moslem part of Georgia earlier this year, the Moslem woman, who controlled the village hall that we wanted to use in the mountains, tried to stop us evangelising and turned local people away – but we continued despite her protests. I have never stopped just because people refuse me! Who are they? I am the ambassador of the most powerful Kingdom on earth, and I have all the authority of this Kingdom to preach the Gospel. Our Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords! Then the woman opposing us was miraculously healed by Him – the King! She immediately said, come back and I will bring 500 to hear you! That’s the power we have!

I am no bishop or cardinal, but I am the anointed ambassador of the most powerful Kingdom in the world, with divine authority over principalities and powers! I don’t represent ‘church’ or ‘religion’, only Jesus.

In December plans are under way for me to minister on the frontline in East Ukraine again. Putin is trying to justify his war against Ukraine by claiming that he’s fighting against ungodliness in a ‘spiritual’ ‘holy’ battle. He claims that the church in Ukraine is persecuted. But there is absolute freedom for the churches in Ukraine. I know, because I visit Ukraine frequently and we evangelise and hold United Prayer for the nation with all Christian denominations taking part from the platform. In March I was evangelising on the front line and speaking to the military leaders. Despite the war, I’m going back before Christmas – they want me back because I bring them hope and comfort. They tell Vadim that others offer comfort and help from their homes – I am the only foreigner (other than a very few press) willing to meet them right on the frontline. I am not afraid – yes, I wore a flak jacket – but if God is with me, I have no fear – the Bible says I can take up serpents, eat poison – or in modern terms, be on the frontline and God will not allow harm to touch me. The challenge of my whole life has been – act out faith – faith without living it, is dead!!!

Too often religion becomes a political or financial tool, as it was with the Scribes and Pharisees – not spiritual. I am a Bible-believing, Jesus-following, Christ-centred Christian. There are many religions in the world, but no man can save himself. The Bible says we have all sinned, Romans 3:23, and our own works cannot save us. The Old Testament foreshadows Christ's sacrifice on the Cross in the New – ‘for without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness’. Our salvation is simple: ask God for forgiveness, believe Jesus died for you, then be baptised. ‘Repent and be baptised.’ A child cannot be baptised until old enough to repent! When an adult repents and is baptised by full immersion in water, this is a demonstration that, by faith you have died with Christ to your old life of sin, been buried with Him, and by grace have been raised with Him to new, eternal, Resurrection life. Jesus said, “You must be born again” – of which, being baptised, is the declaration.

This is the Gospel that must be preached in all the world – and then Christ returns! Matthew 24:14. My ministry has always been to the unreachable. For 30 years in the communist times under the repressive Soviet Union I worked with the persecuted churches; followed by 30 more years bringing a revival of faith across the 11 time zones of Russia itself, and other former satellite communist states, especially in Ukraine.

Now I'm focusing on Central Asia and the Caucasus, where the Gospel is still attacked by the residue of communism and the rise of Islam. We are the only major evangelistic mission covering these regions. We are training and motivating the new generation of young converts, as well as simply preaching the old-fashioned Gospel in large venues and stadiums. We desperately need your prayer and financial support. You can support with prayer and your financial gifts – I support with my whole life, and I am asking God for at least ten more years.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 warns that before Christ comes for us there will be a great falling away from the faith. But Joel 2 and Acts 2 reveal there will also be a great Final Harvest and Outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “Go out to the highways and byways and compel them to come in.” NOW. And Jews need Jesus now. Isaiah 64:1 says Jesus will come back when they cry out for Him, “Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down!” ‘The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!”’ Revelation 22:17. Yes, but we MUST go out and tell them! Thank you for everything that you already give, but pray with me, I desperately need a massive increase in every level of support and finance!

I also have a vision for Britain. At 93, I want to renew the love and intimacy with the Lord that I had as a young boy, as a young man; and I find I am being refreshed and encouraged by the worship I once knew. I'm hungry, I'm thirsty to experience God as I once did in ‘the sanctuary’, in church, in my youth. Psalm 63. This has motivated me all my life and I want to begin to bring back, here in Britain, this 'old time' worship and revival that has driven me for over 75 years. More on this later.

Every moment counts – and so does every gift. Your support today helps feed the hungry, comfort the weary, and share the hope of Christ in Ukraine. Please give as you’re able – together, we can make a lasting difference.

Each week the Gospel is preached in person and online, and our staff in Ukraine distribute humanitarian aid and pray with those in need. Thank you for supporting this vision and ministry.
