Warmest greetings to you from the Spiritual Frontline!
I have just spent a further time in prayer and fellowship in preparation for the next move of God. From March 20th to 27th I will be in Uzbekistan to begin the next part of our move into evangelism in Central Asia. This is a critical region almost untouched by powerful evangelism with miracles and signs following. While Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were exposed to traditional Orthodoxy under the Russian Empire, both were Islamic countries until Soviet Russia suppressed even that. There has never been real freedom to evangelise and even now we have to use whatever opportunities we can, as fast as we can. Armenia and Georgia were the first Christian countries in the world from the 4th Century, with a form of Orthodox faith and they resisted Islam, then communism took over.
You understand why we need so much prayer and help. Armenia and Georgia are very similar to what we had to deal with 30-40 years ago in the former Soviet Union and we even have the help of their governments in the fight to resist the encroachment of both Russia and Islam! We can and will, for the first time in thousands of years, bring the Gospel of Jesus in the Apostolic Power of the Early Church in large missions to bring the nations back to Jesus before He returns!
With Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, our battle is against the Russian spirit and Islam. But there are active churches who are willing to help us, so by the mighty power of prayer and the help of the Holy Spirit, we are going into battle. Many years ago, I held a large mission in Kazakhstan, and, among many astonishing miracles, one man was raised from his deathbed! But the enemy prevailed for a time – and again closed the doors – until now! Now as we fight the last battles of evangelism before Christ returns, God will give us victory.
God never called me to evangelise where it’s easy, but to fight the good fight of Faith to win the lost in Jesus’ Name! I enjoy the challenge, because the harder the enemy fights, so God releases more power, which means that the miracles are bigger and the anointing stronger! Interestingly even some so-called Christians, who have seen the anointing on my ministry and seen the powerful miracles, are now led by Satan to oppose me. But many opposed both Jesus and the early apostles – to keep the Faith is a battle! Look at the situation in Britain where our churches are torn between those who accept worldly teaching and those who will stand firm on God’s Word as the only foundation for the Church.
Jesus spoke of those who build on sand, and those who build on rock. Public opinion is shifting sand, only God’s Word is the Rock which cannot be moved. The tragedy is that, as a nation, as we move further from God, church attendance falls, and we forget even the message of the 10 commandments. Two things are happening which are shaping the future of our nation: Britain, once known as a ‘Christian nation’ has become secular. It is recognised that Christians are the most persecuted minority in Britain; under the ‘liberal-left hypocrisy’ Islam is protected from criticism, while Christians are chased out of public life – this in a recent newspaper report! When some police forces are corrupt and small minority groups are paid to subvert our children as well as controlling public bodies, and politicians are seeking to ‘control’ the population, the only thing which can change Britain is not just so-called revival amongst a small group of existing Christians, but a massive Spiritual Awakening big enough to change a whole nation! Look what happened under the preaching of John and Charles Wesley!
What we need desperately is a church which honours God’s Word without compromise, preachers who will stop pandering to the whims and fancies of their followers and will stop preaching love and forgiveness without a changed life, but get back to a straight Gospel of the need to repent and be converted.
I have just had a health MOT at the doctor’s – and they ‘threw me out’, because everything they tested was excellent and needs no attention – blood sugar, blood pressure, kidneys etc., all good for the next 30 years! However, I have been warned that I must not travel alone, especially when travelling on Mission. Some years ago, a dear pastor friend of mine, who would have been the same age as me, and who normally travelled with a companion, at short notice was asked to speak at a convention in Paris. He travelled alone because it was a short journey. While alone in the airport in Paris he must have had a heart attack; no one noticed him apparently asleep. He died! I heard what happened from his wife at the funeral, it was a sharp wake-up call. My family and staff make sure I always have someone with me. Also, my biggest health problem at age nearly 91, is that I’m deaf. I need people travelling with me and in meetings to make sure that I understand what is being said.
Pray, I have a very full programme:
March 20th to 27th in Uzbekistan. April in Ukraine, for ministry and to film a very powerful documentary on Ukraine which will be a challenge as we can prove independent Ukraine has a longer history than Russia! The Governor of Lviv region is encouraging me to produce it quickly – a bit like our other documentary films, The Rape of Europe, and, on Israel, The Stones Cry Out, also produced with government backing.
Then April 29th we have our first German Day of Prayer for Ukraine. The Germans tell me they are particularly concerned about the fight in Bakhmut because of what the Nazis did to the Jews there in WWII, and so many other ‘unspeakable and terrible things’ – so we expect a good number to attend the prayer. I am setting the challenge to pray for the war to end and for the Victory!
Following this in May we are planning the Armenian Day of Prayer. Then in faith, Kyiv – 10,000 in the Sport Palace for a Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving for Victory in Ukraine!
We need your support both in prayer and finance. We are working in an area where much demonic power will do everything to stop me. But God will prevail and has always delivered me from every attack. When the devil attacks, I know that God will work bigger miracles, just as He did with my two cancers and my time in the communist prison! Every time God answered in power, and I came out with a powerful testimony! If we work as servants of God, we will be attacked because the Devil hates us. The more we do, the greater the attack. Two of my daughters have also been under Satanic attack, especially the one who works with me. She said, “If Satan wants to hurt you, he will attack us!” But as the Word says, we will always have the Victory in Jesus Name – He cannot be defeated! God bless you; the fight will continue until Jesus comes. One song which is popular today strengthens me: ‘You raise me up to stand on highest mountains, You raise me up to walk on stormy seas! I am strong when I am on Your Shoulders, You raise me up to more than I could be!’
