During September, over their most holy days, Israel was once again living under lockdown and restriction. Thousands of new coronavirus cases were reported each day, overwhelming hospitals, and Covid-19 deaths were steadily climbing. Fear and depression are gripping the hearts of young and old. However, David Hathaway’s Ministry in Israel stands firmly in faith, continuing to serve and love God’s people.

During August our staff in Israel offered prayers, made visits, had fellowship, and supplied humanitarian aid with many Russian Holocaust Survivors and their families living in Israel. What makes our work in Israel so special and unique is the full-time spiritual care and support shown by our devoted staff.

During this year of pandemic and economic collapse, we have continued our ministry in Israel to the elderly Russian-speaking Holocaust Survivors, former prisoners of the Ghettos and their descendants.
