We have a covenant relationship with God

We have a covenant relationship with God. It’s not simply based on our faith which is weak and can fail, but a covenant which cannot fail or be broken. When you come to Christ, you enter into a covenant relationship with God, signed and sealed by the Blood of Christ. God separates you from the guilt AND the power of sin. You are delivered from Satan and all his works – not when you get to Heaven, but down here, in your crisis, in your distress, in all the trouble the devil puts upon you. Whoever you are, whatever you are, you are delivered by the Power of the Blood. It’s an unbreakable covenant to defeat the power of the devil in your life.

Yes, we make mistakes, we fail, we fall. But He cannot fail us. The Bible reminds us that God came to deliver the sinner, not the righteous. None of us can enter the Kingdom of God through our own righteousness, so we cannot ‘earn’ the answers to prayer through our ‘holiness’. God did not heal my cancer because of my ‘holiness’, but because He is God!

This is what Moses was saying to the people, don’t look at the troubles, at the difficulties, at your sickness, your poverty. Look at God and you’ll find Him, if you do it with all your heart.

The Unbreakable Covenant: How God’s Power Delivers You from Sin and Suffering

Have you ever felt like your faith is too weak to sustain you? The profound truth of the Gospel is that our relationship with God does not depend on our fragile human strength. Instead, believers are secure in an unbreakable covenant relationship with God, signed and sealed by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

What is a Covenant Relationship with God?

Unlike a contract based on mutual human performance, a divine covenant is an unshakeable promise established by God Himself. When you accept Jesus Christ, you enter into this covenant.

According to biblical theology, this covenant provides two immediate breakthroughs:

  • Deliverance from the guilt of sin: Your past is forgiven.

  • Deliverance from the power of sin: You are given the spiritual authority to overcome temptation daily.

Key takeaway: This deliverance is not a future promise reserved only for Heaven. It is a present reality active right now—in your current crisis, your distress, and whatever spiritual warfare you face.

Grace vs. Self-Righteousness: Why God Answers Prayer

A common misconception is that God answers prayers or heals sickness based on our personal "holiness" or perfection. However, biblical truth reveals a different standard:

Our Reality: Humans make mistakes, fail, and stumble.

God's Reality: God cannot fail. The Bible explicitly states that Christ came to deliver sinners, not the self-righteous.

The Source of Miracles: Divine healing and answered prayers are never "earned" through human righteousness. If God heals a sickness or delivers you from poverty, He does it because of Who He is – a faithful, covenant-keeping God – not because of our flawless behavior.

Overcoming Crisis: The Lesson of Moses

When facing overwhelming obstacles, look to the historical example of Moses. His message to the Israelites in the wilderness applies to believers today: Shift your focus.

Stop looking exclusively at your troubles, your sickness, or your financial lack. Instead, seek God with all your heart, and the scriptures promise you will find Him. Through the power of the Blood of Jesus, the power of the enemy is already defeated in your life.
