Life after death

I believe in life after death! The Scripture teaches that death is not the end, it is only a beginning. There is a resurrection of the dead. Death is only the path to life. And that is the urgency of the message of Christ to everyone of us. Those of us who have lost family members: mother, father, some have lost their children – God sent Jesus: He was born in Bethlehem, grew up in Nazareth, died in Jerusalem, and on the third day He arose. And His resurrection is proof there is life after death.

The Biblical Basis for Life After Death: A Perspective on Resurrection

Many find hope in the Christian doctrine that death is not a finality, but a transition. This belief is rooted in the scriptural promise of the resurrection, framing death as the essential path to eternal life.

The urgency of the Christian message rests on the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. According to historical and biblical accounts, the narrative of salvation follows a specific geographical and chronological path:

  • Incarnation: Born in Bethlehem.

  • Life and Ministry: Raised in Nazareth.

  • Crucifixion: Died in Jerusalem.

  • Resurrection: According to the New Testament, Jesus arose on the third day.

Why the Resurrection Matters

For those grieving the loss of parents, children, or friends, the resurrection serves as more than a comfort—it is presented as empirical proof of an afterlife. In Christian theology, Christ’s victory over death ensures that the bond with loved ones is not permanently severed, but transformed.

Death is not the end, it is only a beginning... His resurrection is proof there is life after death.
