All things are possible with God

The Bible says that ‘the things that are impossible with men are possible with God’.

For one year I spent much time in prayer and fasting, seeking an answer to a desperate need. Twice I said to the Lord that I would fast until the answer came, I was so desperate, but I know that my God is a prayer-answering God! The first time I had to cease fasting before the answer came, only because I had to go to Ukraine for three weeks of intensive evangelism. The second time was after my return: tired and exhausted from the travelling and preaching and the effects of food poisoning, I re-commenced my fast, determined to continue until the answer came. After ten days, as I was praying and worshipping Him, I felt a tremendous sense of the Lord’s presence and I began to say, ‘Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory.’ Suddenly it was as if this was the answer, and I began to say it again, ‘Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the Power, these are Yours by right, but the GLORY is what we give You as the answer comes and You receive the Glory from us!’ I felt confident at that moment that without question I would receive from Him exactly what I was asking, so that then I could give Him all the Glory!

The Power of Prayer and Fasting: A Testimony of Faith

"What is impossible with man is possible with God." (Luke 18:27)

Can fasting and prayer truly bring a breakthrough for desperate needs? This personal account explores a year-long journey of seeking God’s intervention through spiritual discipline and total surrender.

Seeking a Divine Answer

For an entire year, I dedicated myself to intensive prayer and fasting. Facing a desperate situation, I committed twice to fast until I received a divine response. My journey was not a straight line, but a lesson in persistence:

The First Fast: Interrupted by a mission to Ukraine, where I spent three weeks in intensive evangelism.

The Second Fast: Upon returning – exhausted from travel, preaching, and food poisoning – I re-commenced my fast with a renewed determination to seek God’s face.

The Breakthrough: "Yours is the Glory"

After ten days of the second fast, during a moment of deep worship, I experienced a powerful sense of the Lord’s presence. As I spoke the words, "Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory," the revelation clicked.

I realised that while the Kingdom and Power belong to God by right, Glory is the gift we return to Him when the answer arrives. This shift from "asking" to "glorifying" brought a supernatural confidence that my prayer was answered.
