Dear Joint Heirs of the Kingdom
We are certainly facing a very uncertain year in 2021, but we are not alone, and God will still fulfil His pre-ordained purpose. Just as the Bible reminds us that Salvation came before sin, so God knows the future before it happens. He is not like political governments who seem to be caught unprepared.
For me personally, already the Covid Pandemic has revealed a very clear plan and purpose for this – and I believe – future years! I believe God planned, even from before my birth, what is now happening in my ministry, before I ever first went to Israel and Russia: God has opened doors into a future for me – which would never have happened without Covid!
In lockdown I am now preaching every week on TV fresh messages which with my busy schedule I had never thought possible; and I have started writing a whole new series of books because the Lord is revealing astounding new prophecies of the future through all this. If you are new to my ministry, let me remind you that probably the most relevant and prophetic film of all time is ‘The Rape of Europe’, in which God revealed to me over 20 years ago, what is actually happening now! In the same way, in the Spirit, I am again clearly seeing far into the future. This is exciting, because what God shows me, He expects me to put into action, so my future is assured!
While nothing will change in evangelism, I need you to be part of this. Our evangelism will continue to expand, we are reserving the dates when we will be back in Israel, Ukraine, Poland and the new mission field in Central Asia. By faith we are already making the advance payments and it is your support which we need more than ever right now. I have had the most moving very personal messages from the Metropolitan Archbishop in Poland, and from all the Bishops in Ukraine, as well as the Holocaust survivors in Israel. They not only appreciate what you are enabling me to do now, even under this pandemic, but are very positively anticipating what we will be doing in major evangelism in this new year. And this time, with your support in prayer and finance to make it happen, I believe God will not allow anything to prevent us.
But, just as over the last two years I have been working more here in the UK, especially with the ‘Days of Prayer’, this new ministry which God is laying on my heart, is for the UK, that means you!
I don’t think that there has been a time since the last war when there has been a greater need for our prayers for the nation than now. But as ever, there is an answer – God has never in the whole history failed to answer prayer! Whatever the problem, disaster, chaos – God will never forsake us. We now have a Day of Prayer coming, which is being supported by Christian groups almost universally across the whole nation. Simply called a Day of Prayer for our Needy Nation, initiated by Ian Christensen, Senior Pastor, New Life Church Wembley, together with myself, many other Christian leaders and organisations, is asking you to join in prayer and fasting.
The day set aside Friday 22nd January 2021. Renting an arena or stadium is of course not possible and even using Zoom will not work. The best possible way is simply if you, all over the Nation, in your homes – with friends – or family, under lockdown, will spend one hour, any hour, in fasting and prayer to Almighty God for our nation – calling upon Him to deliver us. This is so simple, costs nothing and will accomplish much! I do believe that this is the closest that we can get to a ‘National Day of Prayer’.
There is more good news: thanks to Christian Concern and a multitude of prayer support – God has given us a major victory! The State will no longer dictate to, or control, the Church! Under this latest lockdown in England, churches are allowed remain open for worship – although not in Scotland, Wales or N Ireland. This issue of control of the Churches by Government edict has concerned me, not only because I believe that it was, and is, against the law, but because, working with churches for 30 years under communism, I saw how those governments used this same control over the churches, not only to attack, but as a means of destroying the Church and in doing so to destroy Christianity. We must be careful also lest the enemy brings disunity!
And more good news, which I believe has also come in answer to prayer: our Prime Minister has now appointed a special ‘Envoy for Freedom of Religion and Belief’, Fiona Bruce, MP for Congleton, a born again Christian and major facilitator and supporter of our monthly Prayer for Parliament. This all shows that the pressure, and especially all the prayer over the last months has succeeded in making a change in Government!
While you are in lockdown, I recommend you buy some of my books and DVDs. My next book will be out in Spring, but in the meantime, why not read ‘Why Siberia’, this will not only challenge you, but show how the Revival came to Russia – and how, through all this adversity, Revival can begin here! And my latest book, ‘Power through Fire’ will encourage you!
Despite these difficult days, our work is increasing, and we need your support more than ever, both in prayer and finances. All our staff both here and overseas are still working despite the difficulties. I myself am keeping as active as possible both in and out of the office. Don’t be afraid, for the Lord is with you and will keep you safe until you join Him in the Kingdom. Isaiah 30:19 is comforting, ‘For the people shall dwell in Zion: you shall weep no more: He will be very gracious unto you at the voice of your cry; when He shall hear it, He will answer you.’ Verse 20, ‘And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall your teachers be hidden no more.’ Verse 21 ‘Your ears shall hear a voice saying, this is the way, walk in it.’
My prayers are with you that the precious Lord will bless you and keep you, answer your personal prayers, keep you and your family in health, meet your financial needs and give you the faith and confidence to see that, despite all, God will never leave or forsake you. You are never alone!
