Now then, O Lord God of Israel, let thy word be verified, which thou hast spoken unto thy servant David. (2 Chronicles 6:17, KJV)
“O God, fulfil EVERY Promise!” In all my 70 years of ministry God has never failed to keep the Promises He has made to me! That applies to everything, not just healings, but to every single thing! I STAND ON THE WORD OF GOD – AND GOD ANSWERS! If only we would pray with the same confidence and certainty as Solomon.
I want you to read the entirety of Solomon’s prayer in chapter 6, he pleads over every aspect of our lives before God. In verse 32, he pleads for the ‘stranger’ who is ‘not from Your People’, but comes from a ‘far country’. He says, “For Your Great Name’s sake, if they come and pray in Your House, hear from Heaven, Your dwelling place, and do all that the stranger asks You for!” Do you understand? In prayer, call for and expect an answer to the specifics of your problem. Whoever you are.
We have to re-examine prayer. I have to re-examine prayer!
In 2 Chronicles 7, when Solomon had made an end of praying, the Fire came down from Heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the Glory of the Lord filled the House, so that the priests couldn’t enter in because the Glory of the Lord filled His House! And all the children of Israel saw how the Fire and the Glory of the Lord came down upon the House! They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground, and worshipped the Lord saying, “For He is good, His mercy endures forever!” They gave the Glory to God for His Power when they saw the Fire come down!
I talk about the Fire of God so often. The Fire that fell on Mount Carmel, or with Moses in the Burning Bush. But here, when Solomon had made an end of praying, literally the Glory, Fire and Power of God came down, so intense that the priests couldn’t enter in! If only today we could pray like this, with such Authority and such Power that the Glory of the God would come down! And if the only reason we could not get into church was not because of the restrictions placed on us by the government and Covid-19, but because the Glory of God is there - so filling the House of God that neither priests nor people can enter in! Oh, that we could call down the Power of God in such a way!
It’s taken me 70 years to learn and understand the fullness, the Power, the Glory we can have in prayer! This is why I won’t stop with reciting the Lord’s Prayer, with just vague repetitions, that’s why I won’t stop with just reading something. It’s got to come from my heart WITH FAITH! That’s what Jesus said in Mark 11, “If you speak to that mountain and command it to go, and don’t doubt, but have the FAITH TO BELIEVE - IT WILL HAPPEN!!!
I have SEEN it happen. That’s why I see so many miracles - because I have learnt to take AUTHORITY by the Power of Jesus’ Name! Father, let Your Authority so come into us, so that we can have Power with You and with men! Amen.
