Dear Friends and Partners in Christ
We are partners together in this wonderful work of God. You support with prayer and finance, the office here does the admin, and our very extensive overseas staff – sometimes needing several hundreds – organisers, ushers, security staff, musicians and choirs – do the ground work! I do the important visible bit as evangelist, but without all the others, especially including you, I could not do my part! Staff levels can be high – as it is for organising events in Wembley Stadium in London – but we anticipate meetings several times larger than Wembley for Evangelism!
We have had urgent and desperate messages from Israel. You will have seen the terrible scenes of the fighting on TV. Our key Representative for Israel flew into Israel only this last Monday May 10th in preparation both for my visit and our continuing work with the Russian Jews and Holocaust survivors. He is now under bombardment with his wife and children – their home is in Ashdod! This is where our Pastor Israel lives and has his church. Part of the money which you give us will be used to help support the work in Israel at this time, normally we are sending 20,000 euros monthly but probably need to double this now, with your help. Israel desperately needs prayer as this conflict could lead to all-out war! I recommend that you see my prophetic film on Israel, ‘The Stones Cry Out’, produced almost 20 years ago!
Pray also for the National Day of Prayer for Ukraine on Saturday June 12th. We have just received the final report from the Bishops’ Organising Committee in Kiev. We expect everything to go ahead, the Ukraine government have given us special privilege in that the Covid restrictions will not apply to us on that day. The government regard this as priority – the only government in Europe to encourage and enable this National Day of Prayer. Some have questioned why we have to pay for it. Firstly, Ukraine is one of the poorest countries in Europe, I have even had to approach our government for help to buy vaccines for Ukraine. Secondly, there is no question, it is only my God-given Vision, our staff organising and you helping to pay for it, that makes it happen. Right from the beginning, it would never have happened if we had tried to set up an organisation to fund it! In just the same way, the revival would never have come in the former Soviet Union, unless we had prayed, then organised and acted in faith. And I am certain that no government anywhere in the world would pay for such a Day of Prayer! If you don’t believe me, ask Boris, he refused even to give permission, let alone pay!
Please pray also for Poland. Because of British government restrictions, our meetings, which were originally scheduled to commence at the end of May, will now begin towards the end of June. Because of these restrictions, I have to isolate for 10 days between each overseas mission! The good news is that delays are making the final events even larger – with more time to prepare, our ministry will extend for longer, taking in several different events. My real concern which drives me to serious prayer, is that for part of the time I shall be speaking in Catholic Churches and holding very personal meetings with the Catholic hierarchy. The archbishop who invited me to both Krakow and Katowice in 2012 and 2014, where we ended up with an attendance of over 90,000, is now both my friend and head of the Catholic Churches in all Poland! We have the support of the Polish Catholic Charismatics. In all this I have a very serious responsibility as to what I say! I must be careful not to be influenced by people’s opinions, but to speak only what the Holy Spirit tells me. I believe that this will probably be one of the most important periods in my life.
I understand that the last visit from the Pope cost several millions, which Poland struggled to pay. I also know that what God is putting in my hands will be priceless, worth its weight in gold in heavenly statistics, but only if, with your support, I can be led and only controlled by the Holy Spirit, until every human part of me dies. For that time, I must be no longer David Hathaway, but an empty vessel through which the Holy Spirit can speak. It is believed that David Du Plessis (Mr Pentecost) – whom I met once – before he died said, “My only regret is that I brought only the Holy Spirit to the Catholics, I wish that I had brought them Jesus!” Is that now my ministry?
Please pray for our finances: to simply maintain our present level of ministry, we need an income of £8,000 per day. However, with all the pressures of Covid, which resulted in a drop in our income, and the fact that we shall have to do more in this year, 2021, to make up for the lost year in 2020, we do need extra financial support, especially for Poland and Israel.
I am writing more books, I recommend that you send for my recent books, ‘Babylon or Jerusalem’, which is really prophetic; ‘Power through Fire’ and the latest ‘Power - Your Inheritance’. Also watch the ‘Rape of Europe’ again, and especially now after Brexit, view the part on Germany.
