Dear Joint Heirs of the Kingdom!
We have just had our quarterly board meeting for Eurovision and there is good news both now and for the future. Despite the Covid-19 problems, our work continues very actively in Israel where our workers are all local people who are daily supporting the very needy Russian-speaking Jews, Holocaust survivors and their families. Also, in Ukraine, where we are supplying Bibles to the military and supporting the chaplains who are taking the good news of the Gospel to the troops at risk on the frontline.
In Poland we continue extensively supporting the local people in our preparations for next year. Unfortunately, shortly after my last letter when I was still expecting to be in Poland for the November 8th meeting, several of the Catholic delegates contracted Covid-19 and the government imposed a total lockdown. However, the Archbishop of Lodz, Metropolitan Archbishop in Poland and a personal friend, wrote me a lovely letter stating that they are determined that both major meetings will go ahead next year: First the meeting when I am invited to speak to 800 of the Bishops and Cardinals in Poland, and secondly the massive meeting when I will be the main evangelist to literally hundreds of thousands of Polish people in a vast stadium. They see my ministry as a fulfilment of Smith Wigglesworth’s prophecy which he gave in 1936 to David du Plessis, ‘Mr Pentecost’, that revival would come to ‘old line denominations’ like Catholicism, and that this revival would eclipse anything previously known throughout history. This prophecy was not fully fulfilled in the lifetime of David du Plessis, who confessed in his last days, “I did bring them the Holy Spirit, but I did not bring them Christ.” But this has been my lifetime vision! Our staff have produced a video showing Smith Wigglesworth, David du Plessis and the Pope, the moving of the Holy Spirit in Poland – and the part that they see I must play! Yes we are working through the Charismatic Catholics in Poland! And few bishops have done as much to advance the ‘New Evangelisation’ move as Bishop Grzegorz Ryś, now the head of the Archdiocese of Lodz and my friend.
Our plans for the breakthrough in Central Asia are also on hold, but, God willing, are expected to go ahead this coming year! ‘God is not mocked’, and what He says He will do! In at least two ways I see the Hand of God in complete control! One is that we did not have the money this year to cover the costs, it is taking us two years to put together the finance which we need; the other is that from previous experience, the longer we spend on preparation, the more successful the evangelism becomes! This same delay happened previously in both Poland and Israel, where we needed an extra year to raise the finance. As a result, in Poland we had just under 100,000 attending and in Israel it was the most successful Mission since the Acts of the Apostles!!
Always throughout my life, when there has been a crisis, I have seen God fulfil a specific purpose. This time, being confined to Britain by the Covid-19 lockdowns, I have concentrated on ministry to the UK, and even I have been shocked by the result!! For the last 60 years of my 70 years of ministry I have been 100% an evangelist, although initially I was both Pastor, Church Planter and Bible Teacher. Now my life has been turned round and I have begun a new ministry, once again a Bible Teacher – so that even I have been astonished, as have my friends, by the amazing revelations God has given me by the Holy Spirit, opening up the Scriptures in totally fresh revelation, based on my 70 years of ministry. This is why I have written the new book, ‘Power through Fire’! This is now available for just £5 – a new and exciting challenge to your faith! I know that it is directly from the Holy Spirit and a prophetic revelation for these days we are living in.
We need to pray because you can see that there is a growing rebellion against the restrictions on the churches, especially over Christmas! I believe that God is clearly answering the ‘avalanche of prayer’ from you and so many others, so keep on praying until more miracles happen! In Parliament in a recent debate, former PM Theresa May warned that, by accepting the government restrictions on worship we set a precedent that could allow a less sympathetic government to interfere aggressively in church affairs. She was supported by the leader of the House, Rees-Mogg, who quoted from Luke’s Gospel to show that Scripture is against the legislation. And yes, I am one of the signatories of the legal challenge to the government which received favourable coverage in the national press, including the Telegraph.
While most of us agree that sensible precaution is necessary, our main objection to the restrictions on the Churches is that this takes away authority from the spiritual governance of the Church and gives spiritual control to secular government, and totally misunderstands the actual function of the Church. I know that most churches are able to use live streaming and Zoom, but two essentials of real worship are missing, the music and singing, and the friendship and comfort of being with other Christians. Being a Christian these days can be very difficult for many who do not have sympathetic family and depend on the Church as family. This is why there is so much growing pressure to allow us to go to Church and – at Christmas not only from Christians – pressure to sing carols!
The Remembrance Sunday programme which we made for 8 November is available to watch on the internet – please watch and share it. I have watched it many times for spiritual uplift. Somehow, I feel, each time I play it, that the prayers and worship are ascending to the Throne, again and again!
We are preparing two special Christmas programmes and a New Year programme which will be broadcast on God TV (in all their broadcast regions), Wednesday 16, 23 & 30 December at 10.30am; also on Revelation TV, Sunday 20 & 27 December and 3 January at 8.00pm. (Also, on ANIXE in Germany and CNL, a global Russian Christian broadcaster.) God TV are so impressed with my 70th Anniversary programme, there are showing the whole programme at a date to be confirmed.
I do want to encourage you to watch our TV programmes on God TV and Revelation TV, I preach a 25 minute message every week – these messages are also on Premier Radio, Podcast and social media – they are based on my 70 years’ experience of Scripture lived out in ministry, real up to date Bible teaching, a prophetic revelation directly from the Holy Spirit for these days we are living in. As a result, I have no fear for the future, either spiritually or health-wise, I am living a whole new life in the power of the Holy Spirit! For me 2020 is opening a new door into 2021.

Despite the difficult circumstances, fear and despair, our ministry in Israel continues uninterrupted. We care for the Russian Holocaust survivors not by our strength, but by God’s Power. Because He opens the doors for us, many are accepting Jesus as their personal Saviour. We are doing all we can to increase our care, to pray and to read the Bible together with them. During October, representatives of our ministry in Ukraine shared the Gospel and distributed Bibles in Slovyansk, which is part of a highly militarised zone of Ukraine. The team spent two days on the Frontline praying with the military. They also visited the Second Mechanised Battalion in Berdichevek, the 26th Mechanised Brigade, the Military Intelligence Unit, and the Artillery Unit in Lysichansk.
In this time of pandemic, the Scripture assures us ‘You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place’ (Psalm 31:8, NKJV). Your family, finances and health are in a ‘safe place’, they are in the Father’s Hand. Whatever may come in 2021, you are safe with Jesus.
