This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah… (Matthew 8:17)

You and I are living in fulfilled prophecy. When we read the Gospels, so much of what Jesus did was to fulfil the words of the prophets. I believe that when God gives a prophecy, it is our responsibility to fulfil it. I see myself as fulfilling, in part, Hudson Taylor's prophecy that the last great revival will begin in Russia. One prophecy which motivates me enormously is from Joel 2.23, 'Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.' We are living in the days of the later rain of the Spirit. I have spent my life seeking a second Pentecost. I want more of the Holy Spirit. I have experienced the power of God in my life! Not some emotional experience in a conference, but step by step walking closer to God – my teenage cry for fire, the cancer, the prison – and many other problems and miracles. What will it be next time, what will happen this year? I still don’t have enough power, still not satisfied that God has answered me fully, what will it be next? All I know is that it is step by step by step, and I have not reached the end of the road yet!

The unforgiveable sin and End-Time prophecy

There is only one unforgivable sin. As a child I struggled to understand what this was. So I asked my father, who was a great preacher, and he responded that it is when you attribute the works of the Holy Spirit to the devil. Jesus said, 'All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men' (Matthew 12.31). - And it was this realisation which led me to realise how prophetic the situation in Europe is: as so much of what went wrong in Germany, began after the Berlin Declaration in 1909, which declared that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was demonic.
